This is the home page for Public Health Direct and for Public Health Network. Public Health Direct Ltd is a company that offers services to Health Authorities, Trusts and Local Authorities within the United Kingdom and to national and international organisations with an interest in health and health care. It provides a network of professionals with NHS experience who offer a range of services that cover the core tasks as described by the Standards Committee of the Faculty of Public Health.

Since the establishment of Primary Care Trusts and Strategic Health Authorities these organisations, together with Local Authorities, have found it difficult to meet all their responsibilities for strategic planning and performance management. Public Health Direct has been set up to support these organisations. Although its focus is the United Kingdom,Public Health Direct also operates internationally.
